Today we have one of the most important videos on the channel as we present the great debut of CLAMP as a professional group in Wings Special Edition "South" nº 3 of 1989. Seiden RG Veda was a doujinshi created from an original CLAMP story. The group published a summary of the characters and world concept, the editors of the Shinshokan publishing house became interested and invited the group to a professional publication. Based on the Rig Veda, one of the holy Hindu books, RG Veda has published the chapter Hoshimatsuri (The Festival of the Stars). Mokona brought the group her inspirations from Kyoto, where she was always familiar with temples, shrines of Hinduism and esoteric Buddhism, to create the story. The publisher requested the publication of this chapter and, if there was a good response from public surveys, CLAMP would publish three more chapters. The success exceeded expectations and the story was extended from 1989 to 1996, reaching 10 manga volumes.
