The Blue Crystal Rod - Bad Ending
This is one of the 48 endings from The Blue Crystal Rod. This is one of the bad endings - in this one, Gil is manipulated by Anshar into killing Garu, the fire god, and stealing his power. Ki and Ishtar are unable to stop Gil, and the Blue Crystal Rod breaks. Gil has basically become a second Druaga (the name of this particular ending in Japanese is "Second Druaga"), possibly even worse than the previous one.
Out of all the possible endings in The Blue Crystal Rod, this is probably the worst possible ending available, as the rod is not returned, Gil's relationship with Ki is ruined, and peace is not restored to Babylim (if anything, things might be getting even worse from here on). Basically, Anshar and Druaga have won. Note that the ending music takes on an ominous, somewhat despairing tone. Thankfully, this ending doesn't appear to be considered canon by Namco.
